Affiliate disclosure

DesignHenna is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, DesignHenna earns from qualifying purchases.

What that means in practice

  • When you click a product link on this site and buy something on Amazon, we may receive a small commission. You pay the same price either way.
  • Links to Amazon are marked rel="sponsored" and open Amazon in a new tab. Product blocks show the date the price was fetched.
  • Prices, images and availability come from Amazon’s Product Advertising API and are refreshed daily. Amazon’s own listing is always the authority on the current price.

How products are chosen

Every pick has to clear two bars before it appears. First, buyers have proven it: we shortlist from the listings Amazon shoppers rate highest, generally 4.2 stars or better across hundreds or thousands of reviews, and we drop anything with a thin or weak review record. Second, it has to be the right product for the page: body-art cones on design pages, never hair-dye cones; PPD-free pastes only. We use ratings to choose, but we do not reprint star ratings or review counts, because Amazon does not supply them to affiliate sites and they change daily. Click through to see them on Amazon.

Sukie also checks each shortlisted product by reading ingredient lists and manufacturer instructions, and preferring brands with consistent, clearly labelled listings. Commission rates play no part in the selection; every Amazon product in a category pays the same rate regardless of brand. We do not accept payment from brands for placement, and we remove products that get recalled, reformulated with PPD or metallic salts, or go out of stock for long periods. See how DesignHenna works.

Other disclosures

Guides are researched with AI assistance and edited by Sukie before publication. Nothing on this site is medical advice: henna and jagua are cosmetics, and anyone with a history of skin allergies should patch-test and consult a clinician before use.
